Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s individual trauma history, which will guide personalized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and fostering coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual therapy and lead group sessions, promoting a dialogue for patients to process their trauma in a supportive environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, responding promptly to trauma-related emergencies as they arise.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans per legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research, trends, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients experiencing various challenges related to trauma, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, and depression stemming from traumatic experiences. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their unique narratives and needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in Texas is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-related disorders is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches are highly valued.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with patients compassionately and non-judgmentally, as well as the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications is crucial for effective documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
