Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and coping.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help patients process their trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and enhance emotional regulation.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily include trauma survivors dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve not only understanding the intricacies of each patient's experience but also providing tailored therapeutic interventions that resonate with their unique culture, values, and individual needs. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, existing evidence-based interventions, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Proven ability to perform calmly and effectively in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and experiences to improve outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional years of experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies or involvement in community mental health initiatives will be preferred. Experience in remote therapeutic practices can further enhance your suitability for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
