Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, creating personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations and goals.

• Utilize diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to deliver effective individual, group, and family therapy.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, facilitating integrated treatment options.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, using your skills to de-escalate situations and direct clients to appropriate resources.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness, attending local events and providing education, workshops, and resources to enhance public understanding of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, comprising individuals from varying socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and cultural experiences. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the multifaceted factors that influence mental health within the community, with a focus on ensuring that all individuals feel welcomed and heard.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for developing therapeutic relationships and engaging with clients empathetically.

• A commitment to cultural competence, demonstrating sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation efficiently while keeping accurate records.
