Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and emotional needs.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that focus on promoting recovery, resilience, and the establishment of healthy coping mechanisms.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing their trauma experiences and fostering community support.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to patient care.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and providing support to patients in need of immediate assistance.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance support networks.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and committed professional development to stay abreast of the latest trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and associated mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their recovery journey and establish healthier futures.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:
\n - A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
\n - Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n - A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates who demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge of trauma-informed practices, resilience-building techniques, and a commitment to continuous learning will be considered. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient communication in a virtual setting are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
