This remote position allows you the flexibility to work from anywhere while remaining engaged with an empathetic and diverse team of mental health professionals. Our practice operates primarily during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate the needs of our patients, we aim to foster a work-life balance that enhances your well-being, creativity, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s individual experiences and devise tailored treatment plans that respect their backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while closely monitoring patient responses and adapting strategies as needed.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on the unique needs of each patient to promote healing and resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic and coordinated care for patients with varying mental health concerns.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention support, remaining calm and accessible during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment avenues, and community resources to empower them to take an active role in their wellness.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring that patient confidentiality is upheld.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance skills.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy that align with the diverse strengths and challenges of our clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a rich and varied patient population, encompassing individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. By employing culturally responsive mental health care, you will help aid recovery and foster resilience in a range of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and a repertoire of evidence-based treatments.
\n
• Experience in relating to and providing therapy for patients utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive methods.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills and an ability to effectively manage high-stress situations.
\n
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to forge connections with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate patient tracking and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
