Work Environment\n

As a Mental Health Therapist within our organization, you will engage in a dynamic and supportive remote work environment, specifically designed to meet the needs of both therapists and clients. While primarily working from home, you will benefit from a structured schedule and access to online resources and support that enhance your practice and maintain a robust work-life balance. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility as needed to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with a focus on understanding each patient’s unique experiences, backgrounds, and mental health needs to formulate comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailored to the specific cultural and personal experiences of patients, to drive effective outcomes.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, integrating methods that promote resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are addressed and coordinated effectively.

• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support in emergency scenarios, ensuring that patients receive immediate and appropriate assistance during critical times.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources, fostering knowledge and empowerment.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment plans, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance service delivery and personal growth.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy, applying new methodologies that reflect cultural considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will place you in direct contact with a diverse patient population, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ clients, and immigrants. By providing culturally sensitive care, you will actively contribute to the mental health and well-being of communities that often face unique struggles and stigmas related to mental health issues. This requires the ability to navigate and respect cultural differences while delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, along with a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapeutic services, both individually and in group settings, using culturally informed and inclusive strategies.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to remain composed in challenging situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) software and the use of technology in mental health practices.
\n
• Dedication to maintaining ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality at all times.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
