Our team operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some adaptability required to meet varied patient needs.   Provide crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, working to ensure immediate support and safety for clients.

  Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, enhancing their engagement in the therapeutic process.

  Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while adhering to all legal and ethical standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be responsible for engaging with a diverse clientele, primarily individuals from multicultural backgrounds, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Your role will not only focus on traditional therapy approaches but also incorporate culturally relevant practices that ensure accessibility and understanding for all clients.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPC/MHSP in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

  A deep knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with an emphasis on cultural competence in treatment delivery.

  Experience in providing individual and group therapy with a strong focus on culturally responsive methods.

  Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-stress situations are essential.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport with a wide range of individuals.

  Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience working specifically with multicultural communities and using innovative therapeutic methodologies.
