Work Environment\n

The position offers a fully remote work setting that allows for flexibility in balancing work and personal life. The technology-driven environment employs telehealth platforms for conducting therapy sessions, enabling the therapist to connect with clients effectively while respecting geographical boundaries. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited to individual patient backgrounds, fostering effective healing processes.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, from anxiety to trauma recovery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care and comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention services during emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and supportive measures to stabilize clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, potential treatment avenues, and community resources to enhance support systems.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards in all records.

• Engage in case conferences, participate in team meetings, and attend cultural competency training to continually enhance service delivery.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health care to inform your therapeutic approach.

This role primarily focuses on individuals from culturally and clinically diverse backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and recent immigrants. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapies, and the importance of cultural competence in delivering effective care.

• Experience in providing therapy, both individually and in groups, particularly using inclusive practices tailored to diverse clients.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with a proven ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcased by a talent for building rapport with a range of individuals.

• Proficiency in employing electronic health record (EHR) systems and utilizing various computer applications for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
