Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver customized mindfulness-based interventions, employing approaches such as MBSR, to help clients reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client concerns, stressors, and specific goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to their unique situations.

• Facilitate mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and breathing techniques within therapy sessions to encourage self-awareness, emotional balance, and coping strategies.

• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness techniques, stress management, and resilience-building, fostering community support among participants.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into individualized therapy sessions, utilizing these tools to address diverse mental health concerns and support clients’ paths to recovery.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to incorporate mindfulness strategies into a comprehensive treatment approach, ensuring holistic care.

• Maintain an accurate and thorough record of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical standards and best practices in documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise in mindfulness will be pivotal in helping clients cultivate emotional resilience and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated understanding of mindfulness principles, with a strong ability to integrate these techniques into therapy.

• Excellent communication skills to create a calming, supportive therapeutic environment and build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, though not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
