Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences and concerns.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy, to effectively address a variety of mental health issues.

• Work closely with school personnel, including teachers and counselors, to coordinate care and integrate mental health support into the school environment.

• Management of crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions for students experiencing acute emotional distress.

• Engage in outreach initiatives within the school community to raise mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and create a culture of support and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on school-aged children and adolescents who face diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing your clinical skills and cultural competence as you navigate the complexities of each individual’s unique context.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid independent license in Washington State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build therapeutic relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence to work successfully with a diverse client population.

• Strong organizational skills with experience in maintaining detailed and timely clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
