Life Solutions Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. In this full-time position, you will hold a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health services, primarily through telehealth, to clients across Springfield, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), bringing at least two years of relevant experience to our culturally responsive practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, using culturally sensitive methods to identify clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement and tailor evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to consider each client’s background and personal circumstances.

• Provide therapeutic modalities including individual therapy, family therapy, and group counseling sessions focused on mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care that aligns with each client's therapeutic needs.

• Manage crisis intervention situations effectively, ensuring that clients receive timely and appropriate care during emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and local resources that can support their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and assessments in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
