Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychological and emotional needs of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, tailoring approaches to their personal experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets veterans and their families experiencing challenges due to substance use disorders. Our therapists approach this population with a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced by veterans, including mental health comorbidities such as PTSD and anxiety, ensuring that care is delivered with empathy and respect for each client’s lived experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based practices, and recovery-oriented care strategies is essential.

• Prior experience of at least 3 years providing individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings is highly desirable.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage clients with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
