This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while being an integral part of a supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will utilize teletherapy tools and technologies to conduct counseling sessions, group therapy, and staff meetings, ensuring a seamless delivery of care to clients who may not have access to on-site services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their needs, goals, and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is dedicated to serving individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, drugs, and prescription medication abuse. The therapist will provide essential support, guidance, and education to equip these individuals and their families with the tools necessary for sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience delivering individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain professional boundaries, follow ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working specifically in substance abuse treatment settings or addiction recovery programs preferred.

• Familiarity with additional evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, plus potential bonuses based on performance. A sign-on bonus is also available to selected candidates.
