The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to reach clients in the comfort of their own spaces. Utilizing a telehealth model, you will conduct sessions through secure video platforms, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need without barriers. Our team operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the varying needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and needs, ensuring appropriate treatment paths are identified.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and build resilience, adapting plans as necessary based on client progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms while providing resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and quality care delivery.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance service delivery and support one another in professional development.

• Stay informed of ongoing research and emerging best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your effectiveness as a therapist.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is highly preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed practices.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions and therapies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, providing a compassionate approach to therapy.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while being adaptive to clients' needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient use of computer applications.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
