Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to ascertain clients' histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and empower clients through evidence-based practices.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that focus on processing trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in collaborative communication with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to ensure clients receive timely assistance.

• Educate families and clients about trauma responses and share effective coping strategies and resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals affected by trauma, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will require patience and understanding as you guide clients through their healing journeys, catering to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building strategies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n
