Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments for new patients to understand their trauma history and current mental health status.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies tailored to each patient's specific needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting supportive environments where patients can process their experiences and develop resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and access to additional resources.

• Diligently maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, continuously enhancing your skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with adult clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Many patients may exhibit symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Consequently, culturally competent and empathetic engagement is essential in providing care. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 per year, based on experience.
