Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and adolescents to understand their unique challenges and needs.

• Implementing graduate-level clinical interventions tailored to the assessed needs of clients, embodying empathy and expertise in each session.
\n
• Facilitating effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring seamless integration of treatment plans through regular documentation and participation in patient rounds.

• Providing case management for assigned patients, collaborating with hospital staff and community professionals to create a holistic treatment framework.

• Completing ethical and timely documentation, maintaining the highest standards for patient care and compliance.

• Utilizing evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address client needs and support their recovery and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on outpatient clients grappling with various mental health issues. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate through challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and complex life transitions. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Professional experience of at least 2 years in clinical settings, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques.

• A willingness to manage a caseload of 10 to 40 hours per week, adapting as necessary to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in therapeutic techniques and specialties, including trauma-informed care and family therapy, will be viewed favorably. Prior experience in managing complex cases within a hospice setting would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
