Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues.

• Develop and document individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client based on best practice methodologies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate actively with the treatment team to ensure integrated care coordination, sharing insights and updates on client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to foster understanding and encourage participation in the recovery process.

• Maintain precise and confidential records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing varying mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your work will place you in a vital position to offer support tailored to the unique experiences faced by individuals from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience of at least two years in professional counseling within a clinical setting, showcasing your ability to engage with clients effectively.

• Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices and methodologies applicable to various mental health issues.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster therapeutic relationships and teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a detox center or with clients undergoing substance use treatment is advantageous.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans.

• Prior experience in conducting teletherapy sessions and familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.
