Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, which are crucial for determining effective treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process trauma, build coping mechanisms, and foster recovery.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective responses to help stabilize clients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping skills to enhance their understanding and support networks.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is critical in providing specialized mental health care that addresses the unique challenges and needs of this vulnerable population, facilitating their recovery and long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care and strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to support efficient documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions for at least 2 years post-licensure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
