Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible, remote work environment, supported by our robust community health clinic framework. Our counselors enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand each client’s unique trauma history, ensuring an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.

• Design, implement, and adjust individualized treatment programs aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing creative approaches to engage clients and foster a safe space for processing experiences and developing coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Provide timely crisis intervention in high-stress situations, offering support to clients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring clarity in each client’s treatment journey.

• Participate proactively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities, remaining up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in trauma treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in a relevant field such as social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist.
\n
• While not formally required, at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is highly encouraged.

• An in-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and the nuances of trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach toward clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
