Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough cultural assessments to gain insights into patients' unique life experiences and create personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patients, considering their cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that promote emotional resilience and mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to provide integrative care approaches for comprehensive patient support.

• Proactively respond to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.

• Provide education to patients and families, explaining mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and professional standards in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case reviews and team meetings while engaging in ongoing cultural competency training sessions.

• Stay current with emerging research and practices in mental health therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy with an emphasis on cultural responsiveness.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, along with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and other technological tools relevant to therapy practice.

• Commitment to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on culturally competent therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
