Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery and resilience-building, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patients in overcoming their trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through the processing of trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our patients.

• Provide essential crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective responses.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on improving trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the therapeutic services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will primarily involve individuals who have experienced varying levels of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, accepted, and empowered to embark on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proven ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

• Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
