Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history while identifying appropriate therapeutic approaches tailored to their needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building, integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster healing in a supportive environment.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach that meets each patient’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that they receive timely and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to facilitate better understanding and self-management.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma-informed care and therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including violence, abuse, and significant life events. Our diverse patient population includes adults and adolescents navigating the complexities of PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Your role is essential in not only providing therapeutic interventions but also in instilling hope and empowerment among those you serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities tailored for trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
