Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address the specific needs of your clients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and engage in healing practices.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure a well-rounded and integrated approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with trauma-focused care.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating skills in building rapport with clients.

• Excellent communication abilities, with a patient-centered and non-judgmental approach.

• Capability to remain composed during emergencies and high-pressure situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a strong proficiency with computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
