Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, establishing rapport and evaluating patients' trauma histories to guide individualized treatment pathways.

• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall psychological well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma, develop skills, and foster personal growth.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring collaborative and holistic care is provided to all patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, providing reassurance and support to patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping strategies, and the therapeutic process, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with all healthcare standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect. Many of our patients are dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role requires an understanding and sensitivity to the complexities of trauma responses and an unwavering commitment to helping clients navigate their path toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Ability to effectively utilize trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental ethos.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
