Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment strategies accordingly.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building for each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where clients can process trauma, explore coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other specialists to provide integrated and comprehensive care.

• Offer crisis intervention during emergency situations involving trauma responses and provide needed support.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma, appropriate coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continual professional education on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with adults and adolescents dealing with trauma-related issues. This population often faces the complexities of PTSD, anxiety, and depression stemming from various life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven experience with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, providing stability for clients in times of need.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with relevant technology tools.

• Experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Preferred Experience\n

Additional preferred qualifications include formal training in trauma-focused therapies, experience with various therapeutic modalities, and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing education in mental health topics. Experience leading group therapy sessions will also be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
