Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of patients, taking into consideration their trauma history.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building by integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote overall mental wellness.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and compassionate outreach.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation to comply with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and collaborative approaches to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center, you will work predominantly with patients who are navigating the complex aftermath of trauma. This includes individuals with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Your clinical work will directly impact these patients' recovery trajectories as you guide them through tailored treatment plans fostering healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

• Extensive knowledge of various trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to provide effective trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and empathetic approach in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
