In this full-time role, you will provide essential mental health care to individuals grappling with the impact of trauma. As part of our team, you will work remotely, enjoying flexibility under a structured schedule typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and formulate suitable treatment strategies.

• Create and implement customized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your practice.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through processes of healing, coping strategy development, and emotional expression.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support and immediate assistance during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that aligns with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who've experienced trauma and may be dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, or related psychological challenges. This population requires a therapist who is empathetic, knowledgeable, and skilled in handling sensitive situations with care and understanding. Your role is crucial in facilitating their recovery journey and empowering them to reclaim their lives and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on trauma and related disorders.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
\n
• The ability to remain composed in high-stress scenarios and provide effective support.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications pertinent to mental health practice.

• A team-oriented approach, with a readiness to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with advanced training or certifications in trauma-focused therapies or related modalities will be prioritized. Experience delivering group therapy and familiarity with integrated care models are also beneficial assets for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
