Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine effective treatment options.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma experiences, build coping mechanisms, and enhance their overall well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients, ensuring comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients navigate their immediate mental health needs.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to aid in the recovery process.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on working with individuals who have encountered traumatic events. This includes victims of abuse, survivors of accidents, and individuals with complex trauma histories. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Substantial knowledge of trauma-related disorders and competence in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide calm support to clients in crisis.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and confidence in using computer applications.

• A commitment to collaborative work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
