This full-time position offers remote work flexibility while allowing you to provide vital mental health care to individuals grappling with the effects of trauma. Work Environment\n

Our outpatient office is fully equipped to provide a range of therapeutic services to clients right from the comfort of their homes, utilizing innovative technologies for remote engagement. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with a trauma-informed lens to gather detailed insights into patients' trauma histories, facilitating the creation of effective treatment plans.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, drawing on evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients to articulate their trauma experiences, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster interpersonal skills.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, to ensure that care is cohesive and comprehensive.
\n
• Offer crisis interventions during trauma-related emergencies, acting swiftly to provide the necessary support and resources.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enabling a greater understanding of their conditions and available resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, contribute to team meetings, and participate in ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, supporting them through their unique challenges. This includes working with survivors of various forms of trauma, including but not limited to domestic violence, sexual abuse, and traumatic losses. Your expertise will contribute significantly to their healing processes and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience in a relevant setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
