Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to manage your schedule while engaging with clients seeking mental health support. Our clinic operates Monday through Saturday, and our innovative system provides in-house credentialing as well as management of insurance participation and scheduling to enhance your experience as a clinician.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients and their families, triaging care effectively to address diverse needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of clinical interventions, while continuously communicating with multidisciplinary team members during patient rounds.

• Utilize clinical evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailored specifically for hospice patients to facilitate meaningful therapeutic interactions.

• Engage in case management by coordinating with hospital and community resources to ensure that patients receive the most appropriate and comprehensive care.

• Document all aspects of patient interactions and treatment strategies in a timely and ethical manner, maintaining accurate records that support ongoing patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients coping with severe, often terminal health conditions in a hospice setting. This position requires sensitivity and a strong understanding of complex emotional and social dynamics, as you may work with both patients experiencing significant life transitions and their families. Your goal will be to provide psychosocial support that enhances their quality of life, aligning care with their values and wishes.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is a prerequisite.

• Demonstrated competence in mental health counseling, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.

• Availability to work 10 to 40 hours (sessions) per week or more, depending on client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience working in hospice or palliative care settings will be given preference. Familiarity with end-of-life issues and an ability to navigate complex emotional landscapes are highly valuable for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is competitive, from USD 60,000 to 104,000, depending on your experience and credentials.
