Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include a variety of essential tasks aimed at improving patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, including psychological evaluations and risk assessments.

• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual patient circumstances.

• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups, creating a safe space for participants to share experiences related to mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, sharing insights to ensure a unified approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services, assisting patients during acute psychological episodes and emergencies with immediate and effective support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance across all patient records.

• Engage actively in ongoing professional development, staying informed on advancements in mental health treatment and participating in case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves patients with a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will work closely with individuals, couples, and families, fostering resilience and promoting recovery through meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment and intervention, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Strong ability to establish rapport and maintain boundaries with diverse clientele, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to deliver efficient care.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
