Key Responsibilities\n

• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, strategies for coping, and resources available to them, promoting active participation in the recovery process.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on clients navigating complex emotional challenges related to terminal illness and palliative care. You will work closely with patients and families who require thoughtful, compassionate support. Understanding the unique challenges presented by hospice care, our counselors are equipped to provide emotional support, grief counseling, and therapeutic interventions that honor patients’ dignity and individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling.
