Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health, trauma histories, and personal coping mechanisms, informing tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions to facilitate trauma recovery, resilience building, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups aimed at peer support, emotion regulation, and skill development, fostering community among trauma survivors.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients facing urgent trauma-related situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to advance our collective knowledge in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with patients who are survivors of various forms of trauma. This population may include individuals coping with PTSD, those who have experienced complex trauma throughout their lives, and patients dealing with dissociative disorders. Your compassionate approach will be key in helping these individuals navigate their emotional challenges and rebuild their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with trauma-affected individuals is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to manage stressful situations with composure and professionalism.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
