Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work flexibility, enabling you to effectively engage with patients while managing your own schedule. While the core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adjustments may be needed to accommodate the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues through virtual meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and aligning with best practices in mental health therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that analyze patients' trauma histories to develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, cultivate effective coping strategies, and foster overall healing.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are up-to-date within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and trauma-informed care workshops.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to refine treatment approaches and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse range of clients who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes individuals struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and strategies for resilience-building.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental care approach.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, providing a calm presence for patients.
\n
• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and ability to utilize basic computer applications.

• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
