This full-time position allows you to work remotely while also serving clients in an outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that explore patients' trauma histories in order to develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans focused on recovery from trauma, targeted skills building, and enhancing overall emotional wellbeing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and integrated care for our patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention when needed, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and how to access additional resources for support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring every case is recorded accurately.

• Participate in consultations, team meetings, and dedicated training on trauma-informed care practices and advancements.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in trauma treatment methodologies to enhance therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, and other trauma-related mental health challenges. Your approach will emphasize safety and support, acknowledging the various ways trauma can affect mental, emotional, and social functioning.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is necessary.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience ideally focused on trauma-informed care is preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and contemporary trauma-informed treatment strategies is essential.
\n
• Proven experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions, alongside a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with relevant computer applications.
\n
• A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary clinical team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 .
