Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, strengths, and areas for growth.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, focusing on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), with the goal of facilitating healing and coping.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sound decision-making and a calm presence.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, fostering an informed and supportive network around the client.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, or other distressing life events. Our patient population often experiences disorders related to PTSD, anxiety, and depression, requiring specialized therapeutic approaches to ensure effective healing. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings focusing on trauma is preferred.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and demonstrating effective intervention techniques.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and relevant computer applications is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
