In this full-time remote position, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality mental health services through telehealth platforms. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for greater flexibility in managing your schedule while meeting patient needs. The work environment is predominantly telehealth-based, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility in mental health care. While you'll primarily conduct sessions via video calls, we maintain a culture of collaboration and support through virtual team meetings and case consultations. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though slight adjustments may be needed to accommodate patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment paths.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating safe spaces for clients to share and process their trauma.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Provide support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies as needed.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and case consultations to enhance your professional practice.

• Stay current with innovative research and therapeutic methods related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experience varying degrees of trauma, including both acute and chronic events. You will mainly work with individuals seeking healing from PTSD caused by various factors, such as abuse, neglect, and loss. Understanding and compassion will be essential as you help these clients navigate the often difficult terrain of trauma recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a similar capacity.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders, healing methodologies, and resilience-building interventions.

• Proficient in providing trauma-focused therapeutic care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years' experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed practices and specialized training in contemporary therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
