Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and enhance emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with colleagues in an interdisciplinary environment to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies during regular team consultations.

• Manage crisis interventions effectively, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, and ensuring clients receive the care they need.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower them during their recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, contributing to comprehensive patient care records.

• Contribute to case discussions and professional development initiatives that focus on trauma-informed practices and the integration of new research findings into our therapeutic approach.

• Regularly engage in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge on trauma therapies and stay current with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Proven understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual compensation between USD 90,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience.
