Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, analyzing patients' trauma histories to ascertain appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing during therapy sessions.

• Provide both individual and group therapy, offering a safe and structured environment for patients to process their experiences and engage in healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, equipping patients with immediate coping mechanisms.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma symptoms, resilience tools, and available mental health resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans via electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is specifically focused on assisting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Skillset: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills necessary for establishing rapport with patients, along with the ability to convey complex concepts in a compassionate and understandable manner.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications for efficient documentation and scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
