Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for greater flexibility and convenience in work settings. As a clinician with Green Leaf, you will be part of a supportive virtual team that fosters collaboration, innovation, and shared best practices. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling according to the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, enabling a deep understanding of each patient's trauma history to inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support trauma recovery, ensuring a holistic focus on resilience-building.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address complex trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma experiences and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention support and guidance during trauma-related emergencies, always prioritizing patient safety and wellbeing.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on recognizing trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and accessing additional resources and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and uphold patient trust.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development initiatives centered around trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who are trauma survivors, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with a diverse population.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling capacity is highly preferred.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
