Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their mental health history and concerns from the first session to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health through various diagnostic techniques and assessments.

• Design and implement personalized intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, employing evidence-based approaches and techniques to address diverse client needs.
\n
• Track and monitor client progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary, fostering accountability and growth.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers—including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers—to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Participate in follow-up communications with healthcare professionals regarding clients who are hospitalized for further care.
\n
• Recognize and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, encouraging a supportive environment for change.

• Support families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing challenges associated with their loved ones' mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with include a diverse range of individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more severe psychological disorders. Our practice focuses on a holistic approach to mental health, combining various therapeutic modalities suited to each client's circumstances. You will have the opportunity to work with children, adults, and families, allowing for a rich and varied clinical experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid mental health counseling license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated clinical expertise in mental health counseling, backed by relevant work experience.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to streamline client management and documentation.

• Familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
