Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings meticulously from intake through treatment conclusion.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on addressing clients' unique situations and goals.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health care.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Manage referrals to appropriate specialists, allowing clients to receive holistic care tailored to their evolving needs.

• Assist family members and caregivers in navigating their loved ones' mental and behavioral challenges, strengthening support systems.

• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to accurately document client interactions and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Thrive and Strive, you will work with a wide array of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clientele primarily comprises individuals seeking to enhance their mental well-being, as well as families in need of guidance through difficult transitions. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their personal therapy goals while nurturing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with a preference for familiarity with AVATAR.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor within a clinical or outpatient setting.
