Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring all patients receive the care they need. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the backgrounds and specific trauma histories of patients.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address individual recovery needs and encourage resilience, based on established therapeutic practices.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver impactful individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a healing environment where patients can process their trauma and acquire effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless integrated care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate both patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all interactions and treatment progress in compliance with relevant legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, ongoing training, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults grappling with the complexities of trauma. This includes those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly with trauma-related cases.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
