Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to provide flexible care while maintaining a work-life balance. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, enabling tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients work through their trauma effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences and develop practical coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and available recovery resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Bayview Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse population of individuals who are survivors of trauma. This includes those dealing with symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma experiences, and various dissociative disorders. Your role is essential in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, offering them the tools needed to reshape their narratives and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities with a focus on compassion and non-judgment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience working with trauma-affected populations is preferred.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
