Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations to assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.

• Document and monitor client progress, ensuring all interventions are accurately recorded from the beginning to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual concerns while accommodating therapy for couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate client care and intervention strategies.

• Regularly follow up on referrals, including those who require hospitalization, to provide continuity of care.

• Identify and intervene early in behaviors that may hinder recovery, fostering an environment conducive to healing.

• Support and educate families and primary caregivers, providing them with tools to better manage mental health challenges occurring within the family context.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The position caters to a diverse population, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holds a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated previous experience in a mental health counselor role, showcasing your ability to manage a diverse range of client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
