Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to assess patients’ trauma experiences and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, integrating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and help patients develop coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring holistic support across medical and therapeutic interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, delivering immediate support and solutions during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Ensure all patient documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially in adherence with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine your therapeutic skills and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes a diverse group of individuals dealing with trauma resulting from a variety of life experiences. This may include veterans suffering from PTSD, survivors of abuse, individuals coping with sudden loss, and anyone who has faced significant traumatic events. Your role as a therapist will be to create a sound therapeutic alliance, built on trust and empathy, guiding them through their personal healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
