Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to establish therapeutic relationships with new clients, gathering detailed histories and identifying their mental health needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client concerns effectively.

• Develop and maintain detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and closing summaries to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to client care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in case reviews to optimize treatment strategies and outcomes.

• Play an active role in program coordination for special mental health initiatives, fostering community resources that support preventive mental health services.

• Educate clients and family members on coping strategies, resources, and tools to encourage ongoing engagement in their mental wellness journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center caters primarily to a diverse population of children and families facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, addiction, homelessness, and co-occurring disorders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding these issues and be prepared to provide empathetic and tailored support to help clients navigate their journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.

• At least two years of documented experience in delivering crisis intervention and mental health interventions is mandatory.
