Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and treatment goals of each patient entering our substance use disorder program.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate clinical best practices and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide individual counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) tailored to each patient's journey.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that foster community, peer support, and shared learning among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate a holistic treatment strategy for each client.

• Deliver timely crisis intervention and emotional support during acute substance-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families about recovery options, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role primarily focuses on individuals facing substance use disorders, many of whom experience a myriad of challenges such as mental health co-morbidities, trauma histories, and familial impacts due to addiction. Our clinic serves a diverse population, emphasizing inclusion and individualized care that respects each patient’s unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based interventions, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Prior experience providing both individual and group therapy within the scope of addiction treatment.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

• Proven ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines in all aspects of patient care.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as general computer usage.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
