Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their mental, behavioral, and emotional health histories from the initial consultation through the entirety of their treatment.

• Evaluate clients' needs to develop individualized intervention and recovery plans catering to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to express themselves, tackle challenges, and develop coping strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to better suit their evolving needs.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers, ensuring integrated and comprehensive client care.

• Oversee care coordination for clients transitioning from inpatient care back to outpatient therapy, liaising with psychiatrists and attending physicians to assure continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these obstacles in conjunction with clients and their families.

• Support and guide family members and primary caregivers in effectively managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, fostering a family-oriented approach to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals grappling with a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing a strong understanding of clinical best practices.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to efficiently document and manage client information.
